What's new about the D-con V4?
Let's start by thanking you for the great feedback we've received on the D-con V3 Wheel Cleaner and Fly Rust Remover. We strive to be able to offer one of the best rim cleaners, brake dust removers and fly rust removers. With this in mind we have developed the D-con V4 Rim Cleaner and Fly Rust Remover. YES D-con V3 works great but there was an area of improvement, the smell.
Of course, humans can get used to any smell, but let's face it, the fresh smell of eggs doesn't make it more comfortable. In the beginning of 2018, we started researching this improvement. The idea was simple, testing and changing the formula was not. It's not just that a perfume needed to be added, the question was which perfume to add and to what extent the perfume needed to be added. And therein the most important: What does the addition of a perfume with the operation of the D-Con wheel rim cleaner and fly rust remover? The D-con must work 100% as well as we are used to. Test after test has been done until we finally came to a point that the right formula was found.
After that we gave out some sample packs to the frequent users among us (you know who you are) and let them test the new D-con as well. We are happy and proud to announce that all this has led to the new D-con V4 formula, the formula with the scent of Lavender. In short, we kept the 'good' of the D-con V3 and we solved the points of improvement of the D-con V3. Let's continue to talk about how the D-con V4 works....
The features
The bright dark blue color changes to purple/dark red the moment the D-con does its work. More concentrated, you need to use less to get the same great results.
About this product:
The new D-con V4 is the ultimate wheel and paint cleaner that removes different types of contamination and corrosive particles that have built up over time. Harmful particles consisting of iron penetrate the paint and rims of your car. Over time, this can cause damage, even though it is not always visible to the human eye. Especially on rims, the iron particles released by brake dust are traditionally difficult to remove.
D-Con V4 is a good preparation for the claying of your car because it already removes a large part of the contamination of the clayed surface. This is also a big advantage in terms of creating marring. D-con V4 reacts with the iron particles in the contamination and changes color within seconds because the D-con V4 starts a reaction with the contamination on the paint. This makes the contamination highly visible. After penetrating the contamination, the D-con V4 turns into a liquid that can be easily rinsed off the surface by means of water (high pressure cleaner).
How to use it:
Spray D-con V4 on the rim surface.
Let the D-con V4 do its work for 5 to 10 minutes, the color will change to purple.
If the rim is very dirty we recommend to use a wheel brush, for example the Wheel Woolies.
Rinse the D-con V4 from the surface.
Dry the wheels by using a Microfibre Drying cloth.
