Returns and right of withdrawal:

When should I return the item at the latest?

You have the right to withdraw from the agreement regarding the purchase of (a) product(s) within a period of 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period commences on the day after you receive the product.

If you wish to return a product, you can register it for return by sending an email to: info@trainhornsnederland.nl or sending a WhatsApp message to our phone number.

After registering your return, you have 14 days to return your product. 

For B2B (when ordering with a valid EU VAT number), no cooling-off period/right of withdrawal, and returns are therefore not possible.

Please note that these must be returned in their original condition, undamaged and with all accessories supplied.

How do I return the item?

Return your purchase in its original, undamaged packaging, with all accessories and including a copy of the invoice. If possible, also provide a brief description of the reason for the return (e.g., damaged item, incomplete item, item not as expected, warranty after contact), and your contact details.

  • If the return is damaged, insufficiently stamped, does not include the original invoice, and/or has not been reported to us by email or WhatsApp, it will not be processed.

Damage and depreciation

As a customer, you have the right to evaluate the received product after receipt, as you would do in a shop. If, during the assessment, visible damage or signs of use arise on the product (e.g. due to assembly / disassembly), which is the result of the use of the goods beyond what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods, the customer is liable for this reduction in value. It is therefore important that you handle the product carefully and cautiously during the cooling-off period.

Will I get my shipping costs back when I return?

We will proceed to refund the purchase price and shipping costs as soon as possible after receiving and inspecting the item. When returning not the entire order, only the amount of the returned item will be refunded.

The costs and responsibility for returning the order are at your own expense.

My order has been delivered incomplete. What should I do?

Please contact us within one week by sending an e-mail to info@trainhornsnederland.nl. We will work with you to find a suitable solution.

I have received a damaged item. What should I do?

When you receive your order, always check the items carefully. Did you receive a damaged article? Then we ask you to report this to us within 48 hours of receipt via info@trainhornsnederland.nl and not to use the article due to warranty conditions. We also ask you to send pictures of the situation, so we can assess the damage and together we can look for a solution.


Warranty:

Warranty conditions (for warranty conditions B2B see General Terms and Conditions):

The standard Dutch warranty period applies to all products. If a defect occurs in the product during the warranty period (due to manufacturing or material defects), we will work with you to find a solution. The warranty period begins on the day the product is received. Reported defects must be returned to the seller within 30 days.

In some cases, the right to a warranty may be invalidated - even if the product is still within the warranty period. This may be due to, among other things:

  • Defects caused to the product by incorrect assembly (wrong connection/assembly, wrong voltage, short circuit, etc.)
  • Damage incurred after the purchase (e.g. falls, cracks, scratches).
  • The buyer has made changes to products, had changes made. (Note: removing the compressor from an air tank that was not originally supplied separately is also included here)
  • Made repairs to the product or had repairs made by third parties without our written consent.
  • The product has been neglected in the Supplier's opinion, or has been used, handled and/or maintained carelessly and/or inexpertly, and/or is subject to normal wear and tear.
  • The product is not in original composition and/or used with unsuitable or incorrect accessories. Installation of parts or accessories not compatible with the original purpose of the product
  • Removal or damage of guarantee stickers/seals.
  • Disassembled the product itself or had it disassembled by third parties without our written permission.
  • The product has been used in a manner or under conditions other than those for which it is intended.
  • Damage due to moisture or other external causes and/or factors (e.g. splashing stones, brine, water, thresholds/broken road surfaces). Therefore, take this into account during installation in which location you will mount the products.

We recommend that before sending your product, you first check whether your product is not excluded from warranty. In the above cases, the repair costs and shipping costs will be borne by the customer.

The legal warranty only applies if you have an original invoice and if you have notified us within a reasonable time (14 days) after the discovery of the defects. Please keep the original invoice!

  • When returning an item under warranty, please include the original invoice (if we have not already received it by email or WhatsApp) and/or your contact details (on a separate piece of paper in the box) so that we know who the return is from.
    If the return shipment is insufficiently stamped, no original invoice and/or contact details are included, and/or we have not been notified of the return by email/WhatsApp, this return will not be processed.
  • Please send the article clean. Items covered in grease, oil, etc. will not be handled by us.

The guarantee is not transferable.

There is no warranty on handmade dice.


B2B sales:

  • Any defects, missing products, or incorrectly delivered products must be reported by email within 48 hours of delivery.
    After discovering any defect, the customer is obliged to immediately cease the use and sale of the products in question and to do everything reasonably possible to prevent (further) damage.
  • The entrepreneur's warranty period corresponds to the factory warranty period of 1 year and starts from the date of purchase. The expiration of the warranty is the same as that of the consumer above.
  • There is no cooling-off period for a B2B order.
  • Any reported defects must be returned to the seller within 30 days.
  • When buying on account, invoices must be paid within 14 days of receipt of the invoice.

Assembly conditions:

We are not liable at any time for damage or defects during or after assembly.

ImportantElectrical parts of a horn must be mounted in a dry place!
